Contingent Fees

Anyone who has looked for a personal injury lawyer has probably learned that their fees are "contingent." In other words, if the lawyer does not make a recovery for the client, they do not get paid a legal fee. This fee structure is the norm and is required in Pennsylvania. At most firms, the contingent fee charged is 33 1/3% to 40% of any recovery.
At The Law Offices of Colgan Marzzacco, we charge a contingent fee in all personal injury matters. Unlike some firms who raise their fees from 33 1/3% to 40% (or higher), we never raise our fees if we file a law suit, go to mediation, arbitration or a jury trial. When we represent children, we actually lower our fees to 30% or 25%, depending on the type of case.
In all personal injury claims, I will speak on the phone to a caller free of charge. If I think there's a case, I offer an additional free consultation in my office, the hospital or the injured person's home. At Colgan Marzzacco, we believe that every injured caller deserves to speak to a lawyer. At Colgan Marzzacco, I am proud to say that "every client matters."
